What is SSUDA?

SSUDA is a refundable loan allocated within the Work & Travel program to cover your flight tickets and other travel expenses abroad.

Who Can Apply?

University Student

Enrolled in higher education (full-time, evening, or distance learning)

Employment Contract

Valid labor contract with Work & Travel employer

Valid Visa

Must have visa document (PDF)

Note: Student status is usually verified automatically via HEMIS. If not found in HEMIS, you'll need a certificate not older than 10 days (PDF).

How to Apply?

There are 2 ways to submit your application:

Process & Timeline

Submit Application

At least 20 days before your visa departure date

Document Review

Authorized body reviews: 3 business days

Contract Preparation

If approved: 5 business days for notarized loan and guarantor documents

Confirmation

You receive a QR-coded certificate

Fund Transfer

Auth. body → Administration: 3 days • Admin → Your bank card: 3 days

Important Limitation

Only 2,000 students can receive this loan each year.

After 2,000 applications are approved, acceptance closes until next year.

Repayment Rules

If you did not travel abroad using the loan funds:

You must return the full amount according to the established procedure.

If payment is delayed:

  • Notarial warning issued
  • Followed by mandatory enforcement bureau collection
  • If insured — the insurance may cover the payment

Frequently Asked Questions

Can I withdraw my application?

Yes! You can withdraw at any stage. If you decline, your application will not be processed.

What if they ask for additional documents?

Requesting documents not listed in the regulations is prohibited.
